Why I became a Doula
Motherhood showed me just how important it is for women to feel supported, heard, and cared for during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.But my passion for supporting women through pregnancy and birth started long before I ever became a doula.
When i was still in high school, I had opportunities to walk alongside young friends as they navigated pregnancy at a young age. That continued into my early adulthood, when I was able to be present with friends as they had their babies.
Those experiences stayed with me. I loved being the person who could listen, encourage, reassure, and simply be there during such an important and culnerable season of life.
Over the years, that natural desire to support mothers greaw into something more. Becoming a doula gvae me the opportunity to turn something I have always loved into meaningful work. Helping women feel informed, supported, confident, and cared for throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
For me, doula work isnt just a job. If feels like something i was drawn to long before I ever had a name for it.

Hi, Im Alaina!
Im a wife, mom of five, and the heart behind Hello Belly Pregnancy & Doula Services.
I've always had a passion for pregnancy, birth, babies and supporting mothers. I believe every woman deserves to feel heard, informed, encouraged, and cared for throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
As your doula, I'm there to walk alongside you. I'll help you understand your options, prepare your birth pregerences, and provide emotional an dphysical support throughout labor and birth. I'm also there to support and encourage your partner so you can work together as a team.
And my support doesnt have to end when your baby is born. As a postpartum doula, I can continue supporting your family as you recover, adjust to life with your new baby, and find your new rhythm at home.
My goal is for you to feel supported, confident, and cared for from pregnancy through postpartum.
